Annoying - needs upgrades to be useful

"I recently used mine I've had for 1. 5 years to figure out why it's a 'miss'. I had also sewed up the sides of the outer pocket (like another reviewer wrote) so it doesn't flap open. I don't like the bungee cord at all. It's just weird & too long & cumbersome. All kinds of adjusting & shortening just doesn't cut it. I just find using this more annoying than anything else in trying to make it work. There's no support because of the softer material & highly unlikely people are using them as 'book bags' as they say because it's too weak & sags. The only bag worse than this is the absolutely & completely useless Lug Zipliner Packable - wimpy & no pockets. What a rip-off! Lug needs to redo this as a regular drawstring bag like any $22. 00 Adidas etc sports bag: 2 roomy side bottle holders, straight across zip pocket, 2 long cords as drawstring opening, an inside or outside back zip & 1 or 2 inner cargo pockets. **Re issue the Huggie SE in ALL colors available & re do the Jumping Jack (use the same name) in ALL the same colors & the set will fly off the shelves. I really don't thing Lug thinks things through or test-drives items in real life."

"I was on a wait list & finally got it - the Fireworks Navy. It is beautiful, very smooth fabric, larger than the average sports brand drawstring bag, It's not really 5 inches deep as per the description (because it is flat) but the way the bottom is designed with no 'hard' seams, it becomes a wide & roomy depth. TWEAKS: a) I didn't care for the single, bungee type straps (& I knew I wouldn't) so I replaced them with 2 - 6-ft lengths of cord & wound through like a regular drawstring bag. It sits much better & the opening/closing is easier. b) I sewed up the sides of the front zip pocket to become a straight-across closure so it doesn't flap way open. A definite improvement! It needs gussets on that pocket, plus 1 or 2 cargo or zip pockets inside. Also, many neutral colors & calm designs would help. I can't see walking around with any of those bright neon colors. Thank you."

So worth it

"I bought the fireworks navy and I love the pattern and vibrant colors. I was surprised how well the bag is made as I have had other similar backpacks, but this one has the lug qualities. I especially like the quilting on the lower bottom. I also like the very affordable price and the durable, colorful materials make it so worth it."
