"I am extremely disappointed ; I ordered from Canada, Vancouver; the package reached Vancouver customs but LUG never provided the brokerage release and the package was sent back to the sender. never got it and the LUG Customer Service just issued a refund, no offer to send immediately by courier even though I mentioned I was leaving on a vacation and waited already three weeks for the bag to arrive and planned my trip belongings accordingly; now I have to pivot and I am very sad because I really like the backpack."

Size & color issues

"Hey Ami, why don't you read the reviews & finally buy yourself a measuring tape? Size discrepancy - published vs real - has always been an issue with Lug & you've never acknowledged it. This shouldn't be tolerated by customers considering the high prices."

Backpack measurements

"These are the real measurements of the Hatchback, Hopper & Hopper Shorty. The measurements do not include the bottle pockets, only the bag part. Bottle pockets add at least 1. 5 -2. 0 inches per side. I first noticed incorrect measurements about 7 years ago with the original Flapper. It’s still listed as 3. 50 Deep but is really 2. 75. That’s a big difference. Questioning customer service goes nowhere. All they can tell you is ‘that’s the information given’. Many reviewers have pointed out discrepancies. When it’s that large & noticeable it should be addressed by Lug. Differences of . 50 – 1. 0 inch or more are not acceptable. Love it but incorrect measurements (again)

"I love this cute little bag. I have 2 Hatchbacks & decided to try the Hopper. I wish they had some more neutral colors & not the weird color blocking. Both bags need an inside privacy pocket. As for size, neither the Hopper or Hatchback are 4.75" deep. They are both 4.0 " deep. Huge difference in bag world. The Hopper is not 9.5 wide, it is barely 8.5. Lug always includes the bottle pockets in measuring. That's ridiculous. That is a huge difference in bag size. Lug needs to measure correctly. This is not the first time, it is regular. It needs to stop."

Great touring backpack

"I bought this bag to use as my theme park bag but recently used it for the first time on a trip to Philadelphia. It was a great size, big enough for all our essentials for the day but not too heavy, and I really appreciated all the pockets to keep everything organized. It was extremely hot in Philly, so the mesh back helped my back be cooler than it otherwise would have been. The only thing missing was a trolley sleeve, but maybe this style isn't really meant to be a travel backpack."
