The Dilly is a dilly.

"I needed a little bit more space than the Camper SE which I love and the new Dilly filled that need with even more space than I had anticipated. Also like the option of using it with my luggage for travel. Appreciate the magnetic closures on the side compartments. Ordered a zodiac charm to decorate it."

Perfect size and shape

"Love the shoulder strap. Normally not a purple waves fan but it works with this bag. The shell interior is cute. Ordered a second on Lug live in Blue Moon. This bag could use some other colors."

If You Love The Paddle But Need A Purse…

"The positives… I love the Paddle tote but it is huge; the Dilly Dally is like the baby sister. It holds big cups on the outside end pockets (I can fit two cans in one or my Aldi Christmas travel tumbler by itself). The front has gorgeous quilting, a charm bar, and a D ring that lets you clip a heart pouch on. The phone pocket is decent- I have a big phone in a clunky case which fits but doesn’t magnet shut, however my husband’s regular size phone slides in easily and magnets shut. The back pocket has a trolley strap, two pen slots, and zippers shut, it really holds a decent amount (I can fit 3 fabric shopping bags plus my big phone and the pens). Inside it has slip pockets, a Clearview and a privacy zip like a Paddle, but has a key bungee. It has a top zip that can be left open as a tote if preferred. The attached straps are good to hand carry, elbow carry, or over the shoulder. The detachable strap is a great length to carry across the body. The downsides… I know many people use it for work, however my small computer or file folders will not fit. I got the brushed gray fabric which I love, however the zippers and trim are black and the thread looks blue against the fabric. It is definitely a keeper, especially if you’re not toting a computer/paperwork or want a true personal bag/ large purse/ car bag (used it this weekend for this with snacks, a small compression cube with a single outfit, book, my essentials, and a tumbler in the end pocket- not much or what I would need for days, that was all in a separate carryon) to bring along for the day"

Great Bag But A Little Disappointed

"I have a LOT of Lug Bags & items, it’s a brand I trust and often turn to for my bags for travel, everyday, etc. I ordered this bag in the Sage color to go with my Sage Puddle Jumper Tote & and it’s gorgeous. I’m taking off one star though because the zipper of the main compartment has open endings on each end of the zipper. I prefer a bag with two zippers or one zipper that closes the entire top. I live in a tropical area where we get some very crazy downpours. The way that this bag is designed rain could get into the top ends of the bag. I’m keeping it because it’s very nice and has lots of pockets, but if I had known about this issue with the zipper I would not have ordered it."

Not a tote, a purse.

"I thought this tote would be bigger so I could tote my things around. This isn’t big enough to tote much. Disappointed. Wish it was not labeled as a tote."

Great Bag But A Little Disappointed

"I have a LOT of Lug Bags. They’re my go- to company for bags for everything, travel, everyday, knitting, etc. I ordered this bag in the Sage color to go with my Sage Puddle Jumper Tote. It is gorgeous. It has a LOT of pockets, & I really like bags that have end pockets for water bottles so that’s a huge plus. However, I’m a little disappointed about the top zipper of the main compartment. Each end of the zipper has a space & it’s not connected to the end of the bag. The sides are sew in, the ends just sort of end and float without connecting. This issue could let rain into the bag. I live in an area that gets frequent downpours year round. For local use plus travel I prefer a zipper that is two zippers that meet in the middle or one that is sewn down on both ends. I’m taking off one star for that, otherwise it’s a great bag."
