"Zippers too short for access. Actual interior space limited by handle. Too tight to access inside pockets. Cubes leave clothing wrinkled. Very poor design. This not a travel bag. It’s a daily computer bag but still difficult to access. Very disappointed in this design and purchase. Have many lugs"

Handle too flimsy

"The handle on this is so flimsy you cannot pull thru airport. Open zipper compartment needs redesign. Zips only halfway and can’t get anything in it. Pockets not accessible be cause of zippers and handle design The outside lathe pocket is only good feature"

Don't Bother

"Let's start with the positive. The concept design is nice, and the material is sturdy and will withstand ruff handling. The cons: the handle is too flimsy, and it is not sturdy, so rushing across an airport gives unsteady handling. Also, the handle is too short. I love lug bags and their organization, but their luggage is a miss!"

"I have waited several months on a waitlist with QVC for the Navy bag and on December 4 it was canceled by QVC unavailable This is not fair. I’ve waited this long to now have it canceled. Please explain"

Love my locomotion but would love some additional features

"I really love this bag. I love the fabric, the look, and the size. There are a few things that I think could make it even better. First, I would love if the bag had four wheels. I am using this bag for work but would be more inclined to also use it for travelling if it had four wheels. Second, I would prefer if the lining of the bag was secured on the inside at the seams. As it is, the lining falls in. This makes it difficult to load the bag and to see what is inside the bag. If anything is in the cargo pockets on the inside, the weight of the item (even if light) pulls on the lining, and this adds to the difficulty of filling and seeing the interior. Finally, I would really love if this bag had a separate and dedicated spot for a laptop (e.g., like the puddle jumper duffle and the summit). If a new iteration of this bag had all of these features, I would purchase it in a heartbeat. I am still happy with my purchase and will make good use of the locomotion. But I would also love to see these features in a new version of the bag."

"As someone who loves to travel and wants quality pieces of luggage and their ease of use, the Locomotion checks a bunch of my boxes, however, for this price, the rollers are the old variety and need to upgraded to the 360 twirly type, get rid of the plastic bottom, which cracks in cold weather and cheapens this bag, and provide the wide trolley sleeve. The little band trolley sleeve does not hold the bag upright on the larger carry-on flight bags and makes the bag slouch when full. There’s a lot of competition out there for our dollars and for $250 this bag is beautiful and organizational but falls short in these areas."

Too Short for Tall People

"I’m 5’8” and wear Vionic wedges. Unfortunately the handle is JUST too short, which surprised me given Ami’s dedication to making items for all shapes and sizes. I’m also used to the Ranger’s accordion opening, so this missed the mark on that, too. It fit my 15” laptop, Minuet wallet, Flash with makeup, clear view envelope with 3 Cirkul cartridges, Nintendo switch in slim case, Kindle Paperwhite, 62 oz Cirkul bottle, and my XL cardigan. No issues with space. The opening is just too stiff. For $200+, I definitely expected more in terms of ease of use. The capacity is no issue whatsoever. I’m not too sure what I’ll be doing as far as returning it. I wasn’t really planning on spending an additional $20 for a handle extender."
